Writing for TheatrePosted 25 Mar 2020 by Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance
This Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance initiative Writing for Theatre is designed to meet the demand for greater career development of playwrights on the Sunshine Coast, by providing 10-15 participants On-line Playwriting Conversations with Maxine Mellor, a playwright in residence with Playlab Theatre.
The Online Playwriting Conversations are scheduled fortnightly between June and November 2020 from 10am-12pm on Saturdays, or another day to be negotiated with successful applicants. While we are in a time of health and economic crisis we still have our inherent creativity to draw on, and by exercising it we sustain ourselves and our sector.
Writing for Theatre is supported by RADF funding and delivered in partnership with Sunshine Coast Theatre Alliance and the University of the Sunshine Coast.
If you wish to commit to this program, please write an EOI which includes:
1. 100-word biography and CV.
2. One page synopsis for a new work for theatre.
3. 200-word statement on why you want to join the Playwriting Conversations.
Send responses to program coordinator Holly Walker: email@example.com by April 17th. Successful applicants to be notified by 9th May.
