About the Speakers:
Aaron Craig is a Sunshine Coast based pop artist, who’s work is rich in 80s and 90s pop culture nostalgia. Often forging together conflicting elements from cartoons, comics, products and advertising until they become familiar at first glance, but at a second look are completely unique. He references his art style as ‘pop mash’.
Jimmy Patch is a creative director and consultant with skills in illustration, graphic recording, design and animation. Jimmy has travelled the world partnering with a range of organisations and his work has been featured in publications and exhibitions from the US to the UAE.
Jimmy runs Patch Creative, a digital creative agency that has provided services from high profile entertainers like Hamish & Andy and DZ Deathrays, to corporate and government entities like ARUP and the Queensland Government.
In his work, he aims to find new ways to tell engaging visual stories with effective digital design by being sporadic, raw and obsessive to cut through the noise.
