Katie Edmiston
Manager, Regional Arts Services Network
Katie Edmiston is a passionate arts leader that has been working with, for and on behalf of regional communities in Queensland for over a decade. Katie brings to her new role as Manager of Regional Arts Services Network for the Creative Alliance Queensland, extensive knowledge and networks developed through working as both an independent creative producer and practitioner and within a number of arts and cultural organisations, creative businesses, festivals and events, universities, peak bodies, local councils and state government.
Katie has a significant diversity of skills and experience acquired through: design and delivery of creative projects such as visual arts exhibitions, public art, theatre performances and music events; venue and festival management; public space activation and design; management of statewide funding initiatives; development of arts incubation spaces and programs; community engagement and facilitation; delivery of professional development training and conferences; research and evaluation; strategic planning and policy development; and working with local communities to support development, renewal and recovery within a range of contexts.
Katie is excited to work with other creative leaders in Gympie, Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Somerset and Redlands to build a thriving, connected and celebrated arts, cultural and creative sector within South East Queensland North.

Wallea Eaglehawk is an emerging arts producer providing project support for the Creative Arts Alliance. Wallea has previously worked as project coordinator for various community arts projects and brings with her a passion for arts and empowering regional communities.
